SEI was responsible for managing multiple programs and process improvement efforts for a large, global financial services firm. The strategic objective of these efforts was to manage the implementation of multiple technology solutions and process improvements in support of the Global Human Resources strategy. These efforts yielded significant business benefits, including critical technology improvements to applications and platforms supporting key Human Resources processes, including HRMS workforce administration, US Payroll, Time & Labor, On-boarding, Talent Management (Succession Planning, Leadership Review, Total Compensation Planning, Enterprise Learning, Performance Management), and management of the Contingent Workforce population.
This engagement supported the following key objectives:
- Improve the current budgeting process to include bottoms-up project based estimation
- Conduct a Workforce Development business needs analysis and market assessment to drive technology and process improvements across the Talent Management Framework
- Facilitate the RFI and selection process for a new Talent Management Suite across business and IT leaders
- Optimize HRMS Workforce administration processes though an analysis and improvement of PeopleSoft HRMS interfaces to both internal and external applications
- Manage the implementation of a new global compensation solution for a c-level sponsored Total Compensation Planning initiative
- Support the development of a comprehensive PeopleSoft upgrade business case to garner executive level sponsorship
- Manage profile and reporting changes to support Global Succession Planning and Leadership Review processes
- Manage the seamless migration of the Enterprise Learning System to a new environment, with limited business interruption to the global population
- Perform detailed data analysis and implement process improvements to ensure data quality in support of process improvements for the management of a global contingent workforce.
